WHAT IS THE DMPR PROGRAM?
The Disaster Mitigation, Preparedness, & Response (DMPR) Program is ASEP’s advocacy to make our structures and communities resilient to various hazards (earthquakes, typhoons, floods, fire, landslides, & tsunamis). Among the key activities under DMPR are hazard vulnerability and risk assessments of structures. DMPR is pronounced as “damp-er “. A damper is a device that reduces vibration.

As a DMPR volunteer, you can contribute by being part of the volunteer group during pre and post-earthquake inspection of structures
